I have to start by saying the service was very good. Courteous, and responsive to what I needed done. I usually provide between 15-20 garments at a time which run me typically $50.00 when I spent $87.00 I was taken aback and feel like the amount of business I would bring to Kona Cleaners was not taken into consideration. I would hope that I would receive the same or similar rate as I was getting from my old, current, cleaning service.

One of my shirts was lost and nothing was ever resolved! NEVER again, and spreading the word around town.
I usually love Kona, but my last experience was pretty irritating. Got my custom traditional outfit back with a button missing =( and.. I want my new Knoa bag yo!
This is my fourth visit to Kona and with each visit I was satisfied with the cleaning. My clothes were cleaned and (not ruined.) I am a new customer at Kona and still hold my breathe because of my prior bad experiences elsewhere. With my last visit, an expensive pair of wool pants ruined (elsewhere) with permanent steamed-in wrinkles were given to Kona to be cleaned. It seems every time I send a load, something is missing when it is returned and I have more bags with other peoples names than I can name. The driver is very nice though.
The two stars are for the nice job your company does of washing and folding my clothes. However, your customer service is seriously lacking at this location. Mona is rude, uncaring, and does not communicate or greet customers. She also does not help or assist the customer. It should be noted that Mona also often has a small baby in her arms while at work. I am disabled. The handicap parking space at the Taft Avenue location is often blocked by your company van. A regular parking spot does not provide the space I need. ... read more
I would give more stars, as the customer service is great, but I have repeatedly asked to lose all the excessive plastic packaging to no avail. I was told last year, that we would have the option to use reusable garment bags, rather than disposable plastic packaging, but that option has not materialized. I will soon start to look for another cleaner that will at least provide the option to dramatically reduce the wasteful packaging.
I took my cushion cover in to get the zipper fixed I told the cost would be $23 which was cool.. When I picked it up they charged me another $24 to clean it which I did not request I didn't want to hassle the girl so I just paid it but $47 later for a zipper fix really??
