I like the convenience of your store and the quality of work seems to be good but your prices are outrageous. I will not be returning due to this fact. Three cleanings with you and I could buy a new shirt in some cases, I’m disappointed.

Business response:

Good morning Barbara, I am saddened to hear that you are unhappy with us. We make an effort to stay competetive in pricing within our area and offer top- notch customer service along with technology that helps our customers live life easier like our 24 hour kiosk. Our dry cleaning solvent is also Earth friendly while being aggressive on stains all while being gentle on your fabrics. Last time they charged $8 per patch to sew on now they charged $10. I ask why so much she said patch was bigger. They were the same size. $10 is a little much to sew on a patch. When I lived in Chino Hills they changed me $5. That’s the last time I bring my jacket to get a patch put on.

Awful! I took my dress to get pressed only and had to send it back because it was wrinkled. When the dress came back the second time it was still wrinkled! I was very upset cuz my event was the next day and didn’t have time to have it pressed at a different location.. I wont be using them for anything! The staff was nice but that was about all. It was a waist of 2 days ended up having to press it my self!

Business response:

Maria, First and foremost thank you for taking my call. I am truly sorry about the experience you encountered at our Fontana Kona Cleaners. We appreciate you bring your concern to our attention so that we may address it.

I went to pick up my items, that were both alterations and dry cleaning, I was overcharged. They overcharged me for a service that they did not even do! They then damaged my pants when they dry cleand them, and told me that if I wanted them sent to corporate I wouldn’t have them for a long time! I then had to leave my pants to have the repair done that I initially dropped them off for, that they overcharged me for, and they are now charging me $12 to fix the damage that they did to them when they were dry cleaned! Beware... read more

Business response:

We owe our customers everything, Kristin, and it just wouldn’t be Kona Cleaners if we didn’t try everything we could to fix things when we let them down. You’ll be hearing from us soon!

My first time using Kona. WTF, Kona? The lady who took my clothing did not inform me that my shirts would be laundered, not dry cleaned. I guess that's on me? Now some have shrunken, some faded a bit, some piled, and most of the collars are wrinkled. Why would I want an $85 dollar shirt laundered at a laundry service? And, to top it off, all of my shirts smell like someone else's sweat. And they wouldn't take a coupon.

Business response:

Kona Cleaners doesn’t take one star reviews on lightly, Chad. Your satisfaction is our top priority. Let’s talk about what your experience was and how we can better serve you in the future.

Well, I brought my trench coat in to be cleaned and it came back with the belt on a separate hanger, but the liner was missing. I went back and showed one of the girls, and she took a picture of the coat and issues a search. I haven't heard from you since then. It's been a couple of weeks now. Robert Schuenemann

Business response:

Robert, thank you for reaching out to us. I will look further into finding your missing coat liner and call you for an update. Should you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me directly at (714) 685-1900 ext. 88 Diana
