I have been a loyal customer of Kona Cleaners since 2022, and I have always appreciated the quality of your services. However, I regret to inform you that my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed, and I feel compelled to express my concerns. Hello Joel, I can understand the frustration you feel in hearing the response that this happening to your suit jacket is due to the manufacturer. Unfortunately, this is definitely something caused by the lining that is used inside of the fabric and the lining. There is an insert that tends to bubble. This can happen to all suits- we don't know when or if it will happen. It is not caused by anything that we do differently during cleaning or pressing. I’ve always liked it here. Never had issues or complaints. Today, I told them my uniform was turned in dirty to me. Keep in mind it happened 3 times already but I let it be. I was told to sign a waiver and there’s nothing that can be done. The uniform had food stuck to it. Not a stain. Dry food. I was able to take off most of it myself with my fingernail. Anyways it’s the first time I was disappointed and it was only the response that bothered me.

We usually do request that when you have soiled garments that you allow us to process them with 2 day service- this allows for us to catch stains and redo it while it's still at our facility. Your garment has a note in all caps that it needs to be rushed. After it's in our store, we do have to have your signed authorization to send it back as the cleaning facility may find that wet clean is necessary to lift whatever is causing the issue. I tried the fluff and fold service with the understanding that the items will be starched and ironed as part of the service. They were not. That’s false advertising. I donot appreciate the dishonesty. This was at the YL and Fairmont Blvd. location. In Yorba linda.

For any garments that need special care or attention, we recommend Laundry or dry cleaning, both service include starch(if requested) and pressing/ironing. I have been a consistent customer of Kona Cleaners for the past 2 years. We have provided a lot of business while we have been customers and I am disappointed the way our latest cleaning was handled. I had an all white, almost new comforter that I sent in a few months ago to be cleaned. The comforter was cleaned and came back in a Kona cleaners bag. I had a 30% discount for wash/press of shirts. I dropped off 5 shirts. Your bill this morning? $30 OR $6 to wash a press a shirt WITH a 30% discount????? That is outrageous! You lost a good customer today.

I came here for the first time and will not come back. I brought a dress and a jersey here. $25 to clean a jersey is ridiculous. The dress I took had some stains on it that I pointed out and asked to be removed. When I picked it up, the stains were still there. I asked about them and was told that was the best they could do. I took the dress to a different dry cleaners and they took the stains out.
