I brought in 2 pairs of pants to be dry cleaned, one had a stain that I asked them to take care of. When I picked them up the stain had not been removed (even though the person helping me showed me the note that had been left) and she apologized and sent it back. Fine, that stuff happens. I took home the other pants- and one of the bottom seams is completely pulled out! I just received this email asking me how my first visit was and I am surprised because I have been a customer (almost every week) for over 25 years. I recently had my father in law (who is elderly) drop off my blue bag with a coupon in the pocket and he forgot and it took him a couple of days to do it. WAY TO EXPENSIVE for a Quincy location. $35.00 to dry clean a dress. Everyone was nice at the counter
Way too expensive. Dropped off Thursday for a Saturday afternoon pick up and it was over $53.00 for just one cotton suit. Style service but two days that's pushing it. The check out person who gave it to me even said it was expensive. Why didn't they charge me properly then. Lovely (?) to pay for something overpriced when they even tell you it is. I felt royally ripped off. Especially when I know they give super discounted rates to regulars. Guess I won't become a regular.
My family was in the dry cleaning business for two genererations so my standards are very high. I wouldn't thing of doing business with anyone other than Dependable. The name says it all and the store employees are unsurpassable in terms of their service orientation and friendliness. Thank you all for what you do!
I'm not sure why I'm receiving a survey about my "first" visit. I've been a customer for some time. Ironically, this survey comes after my worst experience with the Watertown store. I'm still waiting to hear from the manager, so the issue is unresolved. The problem is that I brought in a cotton jacket/short coat to be dry cleaned. I believe it was washed instead. When I came to pick it up, it was three shades lighter in color and puckered. That is completely unacceptable.
I am a Home Delivery customer. Last Tuesday I sent 3 shirts for dry cleaning. Usually they are returned Friday the same week. I received one on Friday, another one today, and just called as was told the final one will be returned this Friday. While I enjoy the convenience of Home Delivery, I could have walked 5 minutes to my local dry cleaner and had the items back the very next day...and they would have called me if they'd been delayed for some reason.
I really did not like what i saw when i picked up my clothes. Well, some of my clothes. I left 4 pieces and 2 were my favorite jackets. When i went yo check how tvey were cleaned my burberry jacket was still dirty in the neck part and the belt which i payed extra to get cleaned was never even washed. My other white jacket was just as dirty as i left it there the sleeves were dirty and i was told it was stained when it was clearly not washed correctly.
