I'm a very upset customer. Careless error charging my dry clean order ($137) TWICE to the account that is on file when I specifically said "NO... Using this card" (holding the card in my hand) Spent almost an hour waiting for the person to fix it. She was very sorry and promised that it would NOT go through. This was not my first trip by any means. In fact, I'm quite annoyed. Everytime I want stains removed I instruct them to use harshest chemicals at the onset. I've never had damage and the mgmt notated my account to reflect that request multiple times. Once again (my third trip) on this item - stain still there, harshest chemicals not used despite 2 previous requests. Looking at my acct - notation was gone. Dep[endable Cleaners successfully removed stain from my sweater at a reasonable price, however, they charged $30 for a minor sewing job!
I was happy with the service until I found out that a belt of one of my coats got broken. The belt can't snap together. The buckle is warped. Then, I brought my husband's coat to have it fixed due to some rips and a missing button. It was completely sewed up, instead of sewing on a new button
I brought my husbands shirts and Sports jacket down to the Dependable Cleaners in No. Scituate, on Monday, May 10th. I will take the time to first of all, to commend Lidia who was a great help. I went to pick up the shirts and jacket today. with a note saying they saw that a button was missing, and they sewed it back on. There was no button sewd on, and the inside of the jacket lapel had a very obvious stain. There was no dry cleaning done or button sewd on. Regards, Debby Wenzler
James picked up two suitcases of my clothes last Friday, at 300 Commercial Street, along with a typed list of the items which are to be stored until the Fall. I did not get a confirmation, nor is there any mention that the items were picked up on my account at 110 Newbury St. I called today to find out how you confirm that James picked up those items but no one has called me back. Interesting that you don't list any negative reviews. 4 WEEKS later I am still waiting for a call back from the manager after you lost 2 blouses and charged me $35 for a zipper that's still broken. Not "Dependable" at all.
The entry door was broken Staff did not seem very concerned that I had a difficult time getting in, actually thought the business was closed Prices are high
