Not good. I was charged $11 and when I cam home your email said I owed $9.
Don’t be fooled by the name, this cleaner is not “dependable.” My washer/dryer recently broke mid-wash, so after doing some research and seeing the great reviews online, I dropped 2 loads of laundry off for the wash and fold service. When I went to pick up my clothes, I waited for nearly an hour, as they were unable to find my laundry anywhere in their back room. It took over 24 hours for them to locate my laundry, which apparently had been returned to the wash and fold warehouse because it hadn’t been stored in the right pl... read more
As you know I was unhappy about the job you did on the bedspread - I have been a loyal customer since the day you opened - if you credit that $30 I’ll be happy to do business with you again. I like you all and you’re convenient to my home.
I brought in three pairs of pants: each needing a hem, one needing a zipper, and one needing a touch-up around the seam of the pockets. I wasn't given a receipt, and the prices are not listed on the site, but it wound up costing $93. Looking at the average costs in New England for tailoring and alterations, a hem should be about $15, a zipper about $20. That'd be $65, so I'm not sure how the two minor pocket seam touch-ups would bump it up almost $30. In the future I'll be sure to get a price quote prior to leaving my clothe... read more
I went to get a dress tailored, asking for the front and back to be hemmed and for the top to be taken in as well. When I got the dress only the front was done. When looking at the dress I knew something was wrong. Once I put the dress on I could tell it was uneven and not done well at all. When I brought the dress to another tailor, he said the seams were uneven and the stitching was awful. I do not recommend going to this location.
First, there is no price list in the store nor online. Second, the cost of $9.00 to dry clean a tuxedo shirt is outrageous. Everywhere else I normally go is less than $3.00. Third there is no breakdown of the items nor the cost on the drop off receipt nor the pick up receipt. Fourth, I received someone else’s dry cleaning mixed between my order. I called the store to report it and arrange for a pick up and the person I spoke with said someone would call me back in 10 minutes. It’s now been 2 days. I purchased a $100 gift c... read more
Its very fine, but took a day more to be ready. Didnt give me any problems anyway because i wasnt in the need for that exact date.
I brought shirts a sweater and underwear for Wash and Fold. The shirts were returned very creased much more than I have experienced elsewhere. The sweater was blue and was returned grey/blue the fabric had lost its wool feel. It is effectively ruined. I left Boston for Ottawa immediately after collection and did not check clothes. It was the worst case of laundry I have ever experienced anywhere in the world?
I am a retired female who has lived in various places and has patronized many dry cleaners. My recent interaction with DP on Adams St in Quincy has been the WORST experience of a lifetime. The original clerk took a long time to enter the items, several times and always wrong. Subsequently, a "manager" contacted me via cell phone and discussed the price and time frame. We came to what, I believed, to be an unfair resolve. I arrived to retrieve my merchandise 2 hrs. after the agreed upon time and I was told that the order was... read more
