First, there is no price list in the store nor online. Second, the cost of $9.00 to dry clean a tuxedo shirt is outrageous. Everywhere else I normally go is less than $3.00. Third there is no breakdown of the items nor the cost on the drop off receipt nor the pick up receipt. Fourth, I received someone else’s dry cleaning mixed between my order. Its very fine, but took a day more to be ready. Didnt give me any problems anyway because i wasnt in the need for that exact date.
I brought shirts a sweater and underwear for Wash and Fold. The shirts were returned very creased much more than I have experienced elsewhere. The sweater was blue and was returned grey/blue the fabric had lost its wool feel. It is effectively ruined. I left Boston for Ottawa immediately after collection and did not check clothes. It was the worst case of laundry I have ever experienced anywhere in the world?
I am a retired female who has lived in various places and has patronized many dry cleaners. My recent interaction with DP on Adams St in Quincy has been the WORST experience of a lifetime. Around Christmas I brought some dresses i to to be cleaned. I was charge around $95 and the dresses were not cleaned well ast all. One of them came back to me with sign hidden in it that said stains on back. I have no idea of there was an attempt to clean the dress or not. It was wrinkled and does not appear cleaned. Tell Dorchester to answer the phone and tell them to call people back. I have called twice asking how much my card was charged. Nothing.
