I would absolutely not trust any other dry cleaner but Dependable with my family’s clothing. They’ve been our dry cleaner for decades first in Quincy and 25 years later in Hanover.
3.5-stars for getting it wrong, then getting it right. I am an occasional customer of Dependable's pick-up-and-delivery service and, although I don't use the service more frequently than every several months, have always been well pleased. I called ahead of time to see what it would cost to dry clean and preserve a wedding gown. They told me $200. I brought the gown in, and I was then told that the minimum is $299. The manager apologized, and said there was another option. He told me I could have a just dry cleaned for $175 which was fine with me. I left the gown there. You pick up my laundry like usual for the past year or so then don’t bring it back to the building for weeks? I have to call twice to find it and then am told I have to pick it up? Meanwhile dependable is delivering to my building twice a week?
i was disappointed with the quality of my dry cleaning
One of the items that I dropped off last Tuesday was not ready. I called your company when I received an email that only one item was ready (I dropped off 2 items in Tuesday), the person who answered the phone did not gave me a clear answer. I hope that the item will be ready tomorrow.
I'm glad I went to the Hanover store because the Weymouth stores that are now closed the people there were very rude the people in Hanover were very nice and accommodating
I dropped off more then 40 items for dry cleaning and only received 15 at the most. The rest of my items appearently were misplaced. I called and spoke to several employees there and their response was they’re are still looking for them, and now it has been been months. It is both extremely unprofessional and ridiculous. I will not be bringing my business here again. Lastly, if there was an option on here to give this company a negative review I would.
The store completely ruined a very expensive comforter. When I called to inquire about what could be done, I was told basically nothing would be done as the comforter “was clearly defective to begin with.” It was ridiculous considering I spent several hundred dollars on it and had successfully cleaned in the past with other cleaners. I will NOT be returning.
