My pants shrunk in length and the makeup on my blouse was not removed. I’ve been very disappointed as of late. Customer service is excellent but something is lacking with the cleaning of garments.
My clothes were lost and I waited about 3 weeks for them to be found. The store kept telling me that I didn't drop them off even though I knew exactly when they were dropped. I was extremely disappointed with the so-called "VIP service". I will not be returning to this store.
Positives: quality of work is great. Also, quick turnaround. Negatives: lack of proper training for the people working at the front desk. I have had a couple of bad experiences. I brought in my clothes to be dry cleaned ; gave the woman the coupon to be used towards the dry cleaning. Rather than have me wait for her to lift my clothes into the computer system, she said that she would take care of it and include the coupon and sent me and email receipt. Asked for bottoms to be sewn on - buttons were not sewn on and bottoms lost with no suitable replacements. Now have to find new buttons an replace remaining
I would absolutely not trust any other dry cleaner but Dependable with my family’s clothing. They’ve been our dry cleaner for decades first in Quincy and 25 years later in Hanover.
3.5-stars for getting it wrong, then getting it right. I am an occasional customer of Dependable's pick-up-and-delivery service and, although I don't use the service more frequently than every several months, have always been well pleased. I called ahead of time to see what it would cost to dry clean and preserve a wedding gown. They told me $200. I brought the gown in, and I was then told that the minimum is $299. You pick up my laundry like usual for the past year or so then don’t bring it back to the building for weeks? I have to call twice to find it and then am told I have to pick it up? Meanwhile dependable is delivering to my building twice a week?
