As I previously responded, Swanson's destroyed my garment by wet cleaning it instead of dry cleaning as the label said and as I initially requested. I was willing to let it go and buy a new garment, but I have been unsuccessful in many attempts to do that. Had Swanson's offered to issue a refund for their incorrect "cleaning", I would not have given Swanson's the lowest rating. My jaw hit the floor when I got the email notifying my items were ready. This was the most absurd overpriced cleaning I’ve ever heard of in my life, regardless of quality or convenience such as the email. We will not be back solely based on feeling like we were robbed.

I left 5 shirts with instructions to be laundered with a light starch and one pair of pants to be dry cleaned. I picked them up and was charged $55.55 with all items being dry cleaned. This is absurd. I've have had the shirts for several years and they have been laundered every week after wearing them. I was told that the reason for having them dry cleaned was that they had velcro tabs on the pockets and the tabs would be ruined by laundering. I brought in 2 pairs of pants for clean & press. Excellent job on those. I also brought in a pair of shorts that needed repair on the button hole, which had become frayed. It is that repair that I am very disappointed about. The frayed parts were not cut away before any sewing was done and the sewing that was done was very minimal and still looks like it needs repair or it will get frayed again very quickly. I brought a brand new item of clothing that said "dry clean only" to Swanson's to have it dry cleaned, believing they were experts. I received a telephone call the next day from the clerk at the counter asking if I would approve wet cleaning it instead. I said I have no expertise to know whether it was OK to ignore the label, and that my concern was protection of the garment. I asked if wet cleaning was safe and would protect the garment, despite the "dry clean only" label. She assured me it would be fine, so I approved... read more

It was the biggest hassle ever I gave you my credit card info at the store and then I had multiple phone calls saying we don't have your card info so I give the girl my credit card info again and then they call me again stating that we don't have your card info it was a huge headache and complete inconvenience and then someone else calls from your corp office and I gave the my card info again. You need to have. You need to have better training for your staff! Very disappointed!

Customer service at drop off and pick up were great, and it's obvious customer care is important. However, my garment was not ready on time and I was provided with a secondary claim ticket that was not priced according to my final charge. My claim ticket upon realizing my item wasn't ready said $17.50, but my final. I'll was $42. Needless to say, my first experience did not meet my expectations despite the wonderful customer service I received at drop off.

I received a coupon to begin delivery service only to learn that there is no delivery and pick up to my address. I also did not get the discount on the coupon. My clothes were cleaned and ready on time, but they did not repair a sweater which I requested, so I have a clean sweater but there's still a needed repair. I don't think I will go again to Swansons Cleaners. It was disappointing overall.
