I needed two men’s shirts just pressed and was charged $20 and change. WHAT?? No cleaning, no washing, just pressing. I was shocked.
It was twice the price of the place I typically go to. I wasn’t given the price when I dropped off my clothes and there are no prices that are visible easily in the store. Granted, I should’ve asked for the price when I dropped it off, but never could I have guessed that it would be that expensive. One mens jacket and one navy "Pea coat" and you charged me 25.00...what a joke, I will never go to your rip off scam again....that was shameful and egregiously expensive...I guess you think the Gold River people can afford it as you fleece them without a care...I just made a mistake and thought you would be a regular dry cleaner!...I was quoted at under 20 when I dropped the coats off and then when they came back they added 5 for "pet hair" removal....what the hell did I pay for on the original quote which was already outrag... read more
I had arable runner I wanted a stain removed from. My runner comeback w/ the stain still there. Will not return
Love the idea of free delivery. People are nice. However, my favorite navy bluecoat is all but ruined after bringing it there my first visit. 3 visits later, and 2 attempts to fix - the lapel is worst than it ever was. Scared to come back...
I brought in a down comforter. The cotton cover (no decorations, only buttons to close) was still on it.. The assistant advised me that the cover could be cleaned too. Iwas shocked - shocked! - at how expensive it was to wash the simple cotton cover ($40). It cost more than the cover itself, and nearly as much as the king down comforter. 😳 I will not use that service again.
Clothes were dry cleaned that didn't need to be dry clean, then at a more expensive rate. These articles had been washed and dry multiple times before. The person insisted for the best results they should be dry cleaned, I had never heard of this, regarding Flax material.
I am a long time customer. I only have one piece of clothing dry cleaned once a year and that is my coat. I'll visit the location again next year.
The two ladies that were behind the counter bore very nice but I just noticed when I put on my pants for the wedding there was a little white. On the back of my pants looks like a stain I only wore those pants once and checked it through early before I gave it to them
