Dry cleaners is great! 10 emails in 3 days pissing me off ...please stop.
I went to Kona cleaners because of the SmartRaiser app that we got from Villa Park HS. The garment was cleaned well but when I went to redeem the app coupon, I was told that it wouldn't be honored because I didn't show it to the clerk when I dropped off. If the app or the clerk had let me know that I needed to do so during drop off, I would have. I will probably use the cleaners that is closer to my home next time.
I really like Kona Cleaners and their service. However, when I have an issue and send an email there is no response or customer service. Example, a pair of pants was never returned and when I sent an inquiry there was not even a response.
One of the two items I sent in for cleaning was not returned. I was told that Kona Cleaners would look into this and replace the item if necessary. I appreciate that response, but am obviously not happy that the item is missing and perhaps lost.
This letter is to recognize the efforts of two great team members, Jenny and Mena, at the 17th Street store in Costa Mesa. I came to the 17th Street store around noon on Sunday, November 15, to pick up some shirts and suits that I needed for a business trip early the following morning. It turns out that the clothing carousel rack was broken, and the machine could not be advanced to bring my clothes down from the back of the shop. Jenny asked if I could come back on Monday when it was fixed, but I explained that I was lea... read more
There's a lot to like about Kona I might guess and my personal sample size is a single visit. I took in 10 pieces and was charged $55. Shame on me for not asking prices when I dropped off I suppose, however this is so out of range of my normal cleaners (I am new to the area) that they ought to have told me. They have a pretty cool online notification system and they use good hangers and seem to do a fine job. At $5.50 average per piece (a single jacket, the rest shirts and pants) it is simply too expensive a place for me ... read more
Good price. But, my dry cleaning was put under someone else's name and lost. I needed it before I left for my trip and couldn't get it in time.
Good service, somewhat friendly staff, didn't feel like my clothing was cleaned as thoroughly as requested. One piece they happily re-cleaned because stain was not taken care of the first time.
Was very upset never got a call, email or text when my clothes were ready and I specifically said I was in a rush.i shouldn't have had to call and see if it wasvreadyvwhen I was told I would get a notification. When I asked an employee why he didn't he said maybe he didn't have my information down right but when I read everything back to hm he said that's what he had. So I don't know why I was never notified.
