Carousel Cleaners was bought by Wayne and Anne Bastien in 1972, the jewel of a chain of cleaning stores across BC. Have had an overall frustrating experience trying this dry cleaner out. Initially I dropped off a load of dry cleaning several weekends ago. I specifically asked on drop off if it could be ready next business day and was told no problem. Good Morning. I just wanted to give you some feedback about my experience with a phone call I place to your Barrow Street location. I called this morning to inquire about my dry cleaning not being picked up for the 2nd week in a row. Have not tried on my pants since they were shortened
As I recently moved from Vancouver to North Vancouver, I've been looking for a dry cleaner that matches the quality of my previous dry cleaner. Carousel Cleaners has a nice facility, convenient parking, and the generally good service. However, I've come to expect the dry cleaner to replace missing collar stays and place materials to maintain the collar shape. I loved the service and the work they have done. It would be nicer if they have spend little bit more time to remove all the dust off my coat. However, since its a black coat, it's almost impossible to remove all the dust.
Your staff was friendly and lovely and the service was excellent but your prices are absolutely extortionate! $60 for three items?! I came to you out of convenience because I was doing some errands in Park Royal. I normally take those same three items to Higlhlands cleaners in Edgemont Village and pay less than $30! My jaw nearly hit the floor when she told me how much it was! I will not be back!
Dry cleaning was more expensive than expected and my white blazer was warped I believe as a result of pressing at too high a heat. one pair pants also did not appear to be cleaned although they were pressed and came back shiny.

I had drapes dry clean. 3 panels. One set and a single panel. They were just plain drapes and I was charged $256.00!! I couldn't t believe it when I was told the amount I had to pay. Then later I was told by others I could have paid $130.00 or the most $150.00 and that I was charged way too much for the type of drapes. I will never do business with carousel cleaners.
