Dropped my items off to Newport location. Went to pick up and was told upon arriving that my clothes were at the Costa Mesa laundrette. No apologies financial or vocal were offered! Had to go and collect them myself. Won't be using Kona again.

I love Kona Cleaners. Next day service, same day if dropped of by 9. Text & email alerts that my order is done. Great friendly staff, fair prices, no tags stapled clipped or pinned to my clothes. Now the bad...I moved to South County and there's not a location here. They've ruined me for other cleaners

The experience was fine but $7 per piece of clothing is too expensive. For 10 items, it would have cost me $70. My clothes aren't even worth $70.

Brought in some dresses needing hems to be raised. 5 dresses and I was charged $22/each !! Wow, that's what I get for not asking ahead of time. I also brought in a skirt that needed the velcro moved in a little bit, charged $17 for that! I also brought in a pair of white jeans needing to be taken in as well. The waist was brought in but there's a huge gap in the zipper section of the pant. I was charged $145 for all 7 items. It took me months to pay the bill. Very often my buttons are broken on my expensive shirts. I often find out only when I put them on to wear! It causes me to hesitate to bring my best clothes to Kona. I've mentioned at least 2 times and it has happened at least 3 or 4 times.

my dress slacks which i left single creased came back from Kona with TRIPLE creases on front and back of each pair. a wool sweater that was black (solid) somehow got these round grate markings all over the front and back of them. it looks like an industrial iron was left on my WOOL sweater and left burn marks. not sure how this is possible from a professional cleaners but as my clothing are expensive pieces, i will NOT be using your company again. i plan to share the info when asked by friends in the area how my experience ... read more

very nice staff and love the emails to tell me when my items are done and the cost. when I picked up my drapes the drapery hooks were missing and the staff was unable to locate them and so I had to go to Joann's and purchase them.
