Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. Tom and Bob have been working for almost 40 years to keep Brothers Cleaners level with changing dry c... read more

I just moved to Raleigh and dropped off my dress shirts with out asking the cost to have them cleaned and pressed. I was shocked at the price when I picked them up, which was over $20 for 6 shirts. I am moving to Raleigh from the DC area, a much higher cost of living. I just want a simple wash and press - I’m certain I can find a provider at half the cost. If not, looks like a good business opportunity to bring reasonably priced dress shirt cleanings to Raleigh, NC.
I really like Brothers' but I can't find my November coupon for 10%. Thanks for any assistance.
Always had great experience until the last visit. The person checking me out made an error and did not know how to correct it. Wanted me to have a $200 credit, which is unacceptable. People should know how to correct mistakes
It became very clear my business was not valued. Both management and the owner made that crystal clear. It is a shame, and in my opinion was a very easy fix. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
Don’t stain my shirts Don’t break my buttons Don’t make customers wait 20 mins to pick up clothing. I have two shirts that I have noticed thus far that either have stains or slightly burned collars. This is unacceptable for the amount of money you charge. I will not recommend you and I will warn others not to use you.
I showed up right at 7 to pick up as there were 3 employees at the counter, but the door was locked and they turned me away. Meanwhile, there's a customer currently in the drive through. The next morning when I go to pick up (in my Corvette), I kid you not- the girl says "Aren't you too young to be driving that? Must be your parents." This same girl was originally offputting when I dropped off my clothes the other day too. I literally never write reviews for anything but this place left me with such a thorn in my side.
Since January of 2017, I have taken items to Brothers cleaners that were clumsily laundered, along with three pieces entirely ruined: a silk dress that was "pre-treated" for stains, now has holes in those spots and is unwearable, another silk dress that was shrunken when I received it back, and when I requested to have a piece mended, it was returned to me in worse condition than I brought it. I was hoping Brothers Cleaners would be a great option for me, as it is incredibly convenient, but they have destroyed too many nice... read more
first time using you, b/c my other dry cleaner lost a $1500 suit... just my luck my 3 suites $1500 each are missing with you. your people are on it, trying to locate and have communicated that to me ( they think it was delivered to another person)
I had a pair of pants hemmed and asked for them to be 2-in. shorter but they are more like 2-cm. shorter.
