Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. I have never seen a dry cleaner who cannot give you a quote for services before they are performed.
I don't mind getting ONE email letting me know that my dry cleaning is ready. However I do not like repeated emails as "friendly reminders". First, when I drop off items that are not ready at the same time, I will wait until all items are ready so as to make only one trip. You do not deliver to my area near Cameron Village. Secondly, sometimes I travel and can't get there right away. I receive enough emails as it is, please stop sending so many. The stains were removed which was good but only one of my shirts sleeves were creased. I then asked why the other sleeves weren't creased and one lady replied, you have to ask for that. Maybe I'm just used to having things dry cleaned in a marine corps town but every time I've had my shirts dry cleaned any where the sleeves on a long sleeve button down have always been creased.
