Took my custom made comforter to be dry cleaned. Came back in worse condition than it went in. More spots I’d never seen. Stains that were not on there when taken in. Alterations were supposed to be done, horrible results, not even finished. I took comforter back in and the kid, Elliott-nice guy, said he would credit my account and asked for my credit card. I was extremely disappointed to find that no one in your establishment was wearing a mask. Given the times, I would have thought your employees would want to a) keep your customers healthy, and b) keep themselves healthy. I guess I was wrong. Thankfully, we don't need dry cleaners much anymore.
Dropped off 6 articles; 2 cotton SS shirts and 4 pair of cotton shorts. I take full responsibility for not clarifying with staff that the shorts were to be laundered and pressed. Instead, Tide elected to dry clean those four pieces at the cost of $9.00 each. My total for all six articles was $42. I accept the responsibility for not being clear about how the shorts should be cleaned. Interestingly, Tide selected the most expensive route. No matter. It will be my last visit to any Tide store.
I don’t usually use this location. I use the one on research. Needed a button sewn on my pants. They actually got everything done quickly. Only problem is when I got home they never put the button on.
Even though I was the only customer in the store, the attendant seemed bothered. I had a couple easy price questions. I was not challenging the correctness of the bill, but wanted to know the regular price for dry cleaning. She seemed bothered by my questions and I felt rushed to just leave. I’ve been a customer for over 20 years & this is the exception, not the norm, so I ignored it. I’m only telling you because you asked.
