First time and last..dropped off 5 pieces, came back for pick up, walked 20ft to my vehicle and left my dry cleaning in my vehicle overnight. Went outside the next day and brought it in and realized I only received 4 pieces (missing my pants). Yet another horrific experience at Pilgrim Cleaners on 61st with 2 female employees (one named Jessica). I stopped by Pilgrim's on Aug. 21st to pick up my two shirts and two lab coats that were supposed to be altered. Female employee (not Jessica) gave me my clothes without checking them. Only one shirt and one lab coat had been altered. I was going out of town on Aug. 22nd and needed my lab coat for a presentation. Hello, my name is Diana Torres. I just wanted to let you know that on Friday September 15, time 6:35. The van with clothes came in before I got there. And the lady that worked told me that it was going to take a minute, okay so I waited and then she came up to the counter and proceeded to tell me it was going to take longer and told me the hours for tomorrow (Saturday). Wonderful Ladies at this store. Always so helpful and friendly.
The shirts and dry cleaning was fine. However, I was disappointed that the laundry was not there when I was told it would be. This caused me an extra trip. Seems it should have been ready after 4 days. Also, I left some slacks to be altered and that was completely ignored.
Brought in a suit jacket and a pair of dress slacks for alteration. I had mentioned to the lady at the counter that I would be paying for everything in advance and that I wanted to make sure the slacks were pressed after they were hemmed. The lady at the counter was not the normal lady that I see and she told me that was no extra charge since they always press after hemming.
