Could you please check into my bill. I had 4 suites (8 pieces) cleaned and was charged for 15 pieces. I had replied to my internet statement but never heard back from anyone yet. Thanks providing us, The New Washington State Bank, such great service (I work out of the Charlestown Branch).
I took one pair of dry clean only slacks to be dry cleaned. They were worn once and basically new. They are brooks brothers 200 dollar slacks...not general khakis. They appear to have balled up and wrinkled so badly that i had to press them with a ton of sizing to get the wrinkles out of them. They also seem to have been laundered. Which a Has shrunk them and removed the sheen that these pants have normally. This is not the first pair of these that I have owned, so i know they do not lose that sheen with normal dry cleaning... read more
Pricey!.. but your prices may be in line with the rest. I really don't know. As to the quality of the laundering & dry cleaning, I have not used any of the shirts yet, but I did wear the linen pants you dry cleaned, and part of the zipper pulled away from the pant material, so I will be taking them to a tailor for repair. I don't know if the dry cleaning process had anything to do with this, or not; but at almost $10 (for your dry cleaning), I sure hope not.
1) Better training of your staff is necessary. For example, If Wednesday drop off service results in a 10% savings, then all employees need to know this and apply this discount without prompting each time. 2) Better attention to pressing collars is necessary. 3) Pressing of pants results in a double seam down the leg each time. Getting tired of shoddy work. 4) If you can't press clothing properly, what is the sense in me returning?
Took my LMPD dress uniform in to be dry cleaned and lightly pressed and the patches on two out of four tops were starched in half. It made literally no sense at all.
Business response:
Hi Paige, we appologize for the pressing. That was not done correctly. If you bring it back we can do a redo on it free of charge. Thanks. Nu-Yale Cleaners.
1. The level of starch used on the shirts was incorrect versus what was indicated on the bag. 2. I was charged extra for having pleats on my pants. This is different than from any other dry cleaning service I've had before should be disclosed prior to service.
Business response:
Hi Clint, We apologize on the level of starch used. We will look into why this happened. It's possible they the detail was overlooked at mark in. Also, the extra charge for pleated pants is fairly common across the country in our industry. You have to do some extra pressing touch up with pleated pants vs. flat front to get them to look good. This requires more time (labor). Thanks. Nu-Yale Cleaners
Quality was good, but was over priced and do not think extras such as plastic piece used to stick sleeves together and cardboard disc on to button of shirts are necessary. They create excess waste for the environment, cost money for the material, and take time (money) to put on. Finally, I'd suggest using garment bags that your cleaned and pressed shirts can be put back in rather than using multiple plastic bags to also cut down on waste.
Business response:
Hi Mark, Thanks for the feedback. We've tried doing away with certain packaging items like the shirt clips and customers complained wanting them. Things like this we can't make everyone happy so we have to go with the majority. The reusable garment bags are a good idea but we have an automatic bagger and conveyor in our plant those will not work on. Items would also have to be manually assembled and bagged like the old days before tech. and automation thus increasing labor cost (and price) and decreasing order accuracy.... read more
Received an older linen shirt, opened to wear, multiple seams pulled apart. Thought I should have been informed. I asked the very nice counter girl if any remuneration was possible. She called later and said her manager offered $15, I thought 20-25 was more inline. I feel the manager should have contacted me to resolve the matter. I've been a content customer for many years. Thanks for the opportunity to vent
Every time I bring in my pants, they become double or triple creased. Please use some care when aligning pants for pressing. They already have a crease- it seems as if the pressers carelessly throw the pant legs on the machine and never look at the work they do. Usually I bring in my pants for re-do, but sometimes I'm just so frustrated that I redo them myself or wear them and tell people that Nu-Yale messed them up...again.
Business response:
Hi Bethany, We apologize and understand your frustrations. Nobody likes double creased pants. For your frustrations/troubles, I applied $20 credit to your account. We've had some turnover with our best pressers this past year and it can take upwards 6 months to get presser up to speed and skill. We are working with them and bringing feedback like yours to their attention when we receive it for continuous improvement. We appreciate your patience with us. ~Brandon M. Nu-Yale Cleaners
