It's not the delivery I didn't like--it was fine. What I DON'T like is that when I email Ny-Yale Cleaners I cannot get anyone to respond to me. This has happened twice now when I've been looking for missing articles of clothing. I'm emailing Robin@NuYale Cleaners each time. What gives?
Well, first of all, they didn't get the spots off the jacket. Then they presented me with a pantsuit and two shells and a bill for $47+ due. That's ridiculous for a small order! I won't ever bring items back there if that's how expensive they are. I wish the person had told me how much it would be. I rarely have clothes drycleaned anywhere but on Brownsboro Road, and one of them closed. My friend told me NuYale was great, but probalby would drop dead if he knew what you just charged me. I'd really like a credit!
I have been there twice to pick up my wife's jacket and the spots are still there that I keep pointing out.
I was over charged and it was made right. I wanted a press only, was charged for a dry clean and paid for a press. Thank you!
Well....funny you would ask. Last week I set my bag out in the rain at 8:30 which is before they normally come to my house. After a 1/2 hour of it still laying there, I text my driver for a response that they had been by earlier and I would have to wait til next time. My bag was pretty full this time so that meant I was going to be low on clothes for 2 weeks now. They picked up my bag the next time. They ruined my favorite coat! When I called the corporate office, the person I spoke with was absolutely rude, condescending, and could have cared less I had been a customer for over 10 years. I have since used a new dry cleaners. Its not so much about the coat, but the way I was treated by person in the store and at corporate office.

Nu-Yale does not stand behind their work. Recently my wife noticed that the blouse she had cleaned still had a large noticeable stain. We returned it in the original plastic and requested that it be recleaned. Since it was longer than thirty days Nu Yale refused. I am sure many items are cleaned and put away in a closet not to be taken out until a special occasion. If that occasion is over 30 days, you are out of luck. Hi Daniel, We apologize for your recent experience. The store manager will be giving you a call address this issue. We should be able to re clean that for you even though we have a 30 day policy that is very common among dry cleaners nationwide. If this policy was not in place, people would continually wear items and want them re cleaned for free. Also, its best not to leave/store items in the plastic bags after cleaning. We WERE long time customers. NO MORE! Very convenient location, very positive results. My husband took his motorcycle coat to be cleaned. It was brown leather when he dropped it off, and now it's grey. I didn't recognize it when he sent me a picture. That's not really the issue. Mistakes happen.
