This was I believe my third time using dependable cleaners and haven't had a issue before. This time now only were some items still a bit wet, several items were wrinkled. I thought it may have been a load issue, but I have brought in the same amount every time. I believe when it comes to wash n' fold, they could at least be a bit more careful and pay more attention to the process.
Counter help was wonderful but hate the fact you don't give detailed receipts on cleaning. Had to ask and found my shirt was rung up as a dress. For a company with such advanced computer systems it makes me wonder what are you trying to hide. BTW I've worked in my family's dry cleaners in Connecticut after college so I understand ops.
Hi I am extremely dissapointed in the 20% coupon I received. It says that it is good for "Please enjoy this coupon for 20% off all tablecloths, jackets, coats, dresses, pants, and skirts, good through December 12th." However I did not receive 20% off some of my sweaters, dress, and jackets because the "we're not the right kind to qualify". There is no fine print that says anything about that. I think this is extremely poor customer service and I am very frustrated by it.
when I dropped off the suit (jacket and pants), I indicated that there was a small pull in the seam of the right front pocket that needed repair. I was surprised that I was told that I would be charged for the repair because it was a very small pull and I had never been charged for that type of repair at any other cleaner that I had been to. I recently had a couple of jeans hemmed. Although, I didn't ask for a quote up front, I was surprised to be charged ~$25 for each pair!
I have concerns about items getting lost. I like Dependable but worry when I come in and am not given all my clothes back by the staff person. I have had to send the staff back to pull missed items on more than one occasion.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. You lost and almost ruined a $300 dollar dress that I dropped off over a week before the occasion. Due to losing the item and many delays, I almost didn't have the garment in time. No discount could persuade me to trust another item to you. The discount could not possible equal the risk of you losing or ruining an item.
It was horrible. I asked how much it was going to cost to press a dress. They told me $7. When I showed up they said they made a mistake, it was $12 and since the manager was not there, they could not do anything.
One of the folded shirts came back with the front completely wrinkled because only two of the buttons had been fastened. The answer I got is that unless I am willing to pay $7.96 per shirt, that is normal procedure. I won't be sending any dress shirts to Dependable in the future.
