It is fine. there have been some issues in the past but they seem to have been resolved.
I had a lot of shirts that I got back. However, many of my shirts were wrinkled because they were grouped and tied together. There needs to be a better way for you to return my shirts in a way where they're not wrinkled or in better words "creased" from being crammed among many other shirts. I was not happy to have to re-iron my shirts if I'm paying for dry cleaning.
I was actually really taken back and surprised by my last visit to dependable cleaners... I bring a lot of items there and some of my boyfriends as well.... last week i dropped off 2 dresses and picked them up and the total was 32.00...which I feel is way over priced and strange considering in the past i have brought dresses, work shirts and ties to be cleaned and the total was around 65.... over 30 dollars for two plain cotton dresses that weren't stained is outrageous. I'm not sure why I'm receiving a survey about my "first" visit. I've been a customer for some time. Ironically, this survey comes after my worst experience with the Watertown store. I'm still waiting to hear from the manager, so the issue is unresolved. The problem is that I brought in a cotton jacket/short coat to be dry cleaned. I believe it was washed instead. When I came to pick it up, it was three shades lighter in color and puckered. That is completely unacceptable.
I really did not like what i saw when i picked up my clothes. Well, some of my clothes. I left 4 pieces and 2 were my favorite jackets. When i went yo check how tvey were cleaned my burberry jacket was still dirty in the neck part and the belt which i payed extra to get cleaned was never even washed. My other white jacket was just as dirty as i left it there the sleeves were dirty and i was told it was stained when it was clearly not washed correctly. This was not my first visit. Although I am relatively new to the Watertown store, I have been using Dependable Cleaners for at least 5 years now. I was not impressed by the staff in Watertown. They seemed very unfriendly and not willing to answer simple questions regarding the coupon presented. For example, when I asked how much the order would cost with the coupon, the clerk responded by saying, "I don't know, I'm not good at math". Very off putting response. I will not go out of my way to use the store again.
This was not my first trip by any means. In fact, I'm quite annoyed. Everytime I want stains removed I instruct them to use harshest chemicals at the onset. I've never had damage and the mgmt notated my account to reflect that request multiple times. Once again (my third trip) on this item - stain still there, harshest chemicals not used despite 2 previous requests. Looking at my acct - notation was gone. I was happy with the service until I found out that a belt of one of my coats got broken. The belt can't snap together. The buckle is warped. Then, I brought my husband's coat to have it fixed due to some rips and a missing button. It was completely sewed up, instead of sewing on a new button
The entry door was broken Staff did not seem very concerned that I had a difficult time getting in, actually thought the business was closed Prices are high
