I was excited to try View Cleaners out. I work out near them and the place I was using before was good but not great. After reading reviews online that although they were expensive they were good I decided to try them out, because I believe in quality. It was the worst experience EVER. They ruined my son's pants, my husband's shirt and 3 of my scarves, dirt on my shirt. Identical white stains that look like solvent or something on both my husband's shirt and son's pants. . We drove a long way to get there. Arrived at 5pm. Lady said they were closed for some reason early on that particular day. It wasn't a holiday and normal hours are 7. We had literally one shirt to get dry cleaned and asked if they could just take it and they rejected us. Will not be coming back.
CHECK PRICING FIRST This is the only negative review I've ever left on Yelp; my family has owned small businesses for generations so I tend to understand the issues facing entrepreneurs and take that into consideration. We just moved to the area, and we were stupid enough to give them a shot. Only use them if money is not important to you, and you don't mind spending frivolously on dry cleaning. No price list at the store, and when you come to pick up, you realize you have been fucked. Will I be back? Absolutely not. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
This place is terrible. They charge $3.75 for a men's laundry and $10 for dry cleaning a shirt. Even the top places like Kona aren't this expensive.
First off, the photos they have posted are false advertisement! The only true photo is the outside of their store. Wayyyy overpriced. Customer beware! Ask for pricing on all pieces upfront! This place charges double then any dry cleaner I've ever been to. They charged me more then the actual items cost to buy! I even spoke with a lady who claims to be the manager and she justified the cost saying the names brands cost more to clean... Bebe is not that expensive!!! Tried this place because it's more convenient relative to where I live over my regular spot. The work was fine, what you would expect when getting your cloths dry cleaned, but the price was insane. They were charging me $10 per shirt which is more than double what I pay at my regular spot. Why would I pay more for the same quality work, needless to say I won't be returning.
I really have never written one of these reviews but I feel compelled to do so because I feel like I have been royally ripped off. I had a dress dry cleaned and 3 shirts laundered there the other day and was charged around $25.00 and that was using a $5.00 coupon.
