I dropped off my cleaning yesterday morning before 8:00 a.m. I did not receive my cleaning back today.
I usually have few complaints, and them mainly about how suits are put on the hangers. However,I turned in a pair of suit trousers Monday a week ago, and it has not yet been returned.
I have been using Deering Cleaners for at least the last six years. I have two complaints. The first, that I have made numerous times when I come in, is that my shirts are always starched. I am allergic to the starch and I break out. I ask the attendants to specify no starch, but that does not help. It says no starch on my profile. But, that does not help either. I don't know how to get this point across. If my shirts keep getting starched, I will have to find a different cleaner that does not starch my shirts. My ... read more
I just moved to Indianapolis and was looking to find a good dry cleaners. Based on past reviews, I decided to use Deering Cleaners downtown. The individuals working were very nice when I dropped off my items and when I picked them up. Though overall, I was not thrilled with the way my clothes looked. The collars on some of my shirts were wrinkled/bent the wrong way and one of my dresses had 3 big wrinkles in the front. Wow, terrible customer service and over charged. I will not return to Deering for dry cleaning. I waited for 20 minutes to pick up my items while 2 men got served before me even though I was clearly there first. My drapes were quoted to me at a much lower price and ended up being $80 to clean. I could have just bought new drapes for that price....what a rip off.
