Tough stain removed
Garments are always ready when promised! Not just shirts and dry cleaning, but the table cloths and bedding as well.
I came in to have alterations done and was told I would be given a call to check up on the progress of the alterations and I never received a call after close to a month of coming in to pick up the item.
They have lost one of my items and after 2 times going there they didn't buy it so I gave up! After a month I got email that still there is one item!! And instead of acceptance their fault and apologize their manager gave me reasons !
Worst place I've ever been to the management is complete shit, they are all petty worthless individuals. Screw Deering Cleaners my business will go elsewhere and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place at all cost.
The quality and price of service is great! I gave 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1st reason: I wasn't given a call when my item was ready, and when I mentioned that to the worker she said that they normally don't call when a customer's item is ready. Given I wasn't provided an exact time of when my item would be ready, I felt I should have received a call. 2nd reason: Staff could be a little more interactive but they are polite.
First experience with Deering Cleaners, and it was NOT a positive one. I dropped clothes off on a Wednesday before a holiday weekend, and I was told that although the store was very busy, they could have clothes ready for a Saturday pick-up if needed. I was going to my event Saturday, so thought that would be perfect. Went to pick up cleaning on Saturday, and clothes were not ready. I hope not to be back there again !
Somehow my one pair of slacks (for this review) were not marked correctly to be returned as part of Procare with IU Health-I typically drop off and pick up my dry cleaning at the Riley location. They were recovered, however. I believe the service is good. I have had trouble getting automatic billing set up after a number of trys-someone called me prior to this drop off and thought we had it.
