I had three pieces that needed altering (at the Burbank location) - two waistcoat vests and a pair of pants - the pants needed hemming at the bottom and all of the pieces needed the sides taken in to fit me better. While the pants were hemmed nicely at the bottom, neither of the other alterations I requested to make the pieces fit me better were noticeable, if done at all. Took a dress in to be tailored and was overall disappointed by the staff and results. I was a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding and just needed my dress let out a little bit in a short time frame. Came into Flairs and had trouble getting clear communication on what could or couldn’t be done to the dress. The dress needed an inch let out in the hips and stomach area but was told it could maybe have an inch of room to let out. I was excited to use my "new customer 10$ coupon you sent me but was told, "we don't accept expired coupons". So I took my shirts elsewhere and only will use my account set up for me by Mount Sinai.
1) I was given a bunch of $1 dollar bill's in lieu of proper change. I had to request for (not) a wad of ones and the worker gave me attitude. 2)The incorrect pick up time was put on work order. 3)Pants still feel too long, $15+ dollars later.
1. For some reason my name, etc. was removed from your customer list. 2. After many tries, my info was re-entered. Nevertheless, my first name was misspelled. 3. My 40% discount coupon was not honored. I was given a 30% discount, perhaps by mistake or perhaps by intent. In either case, no mention was made of the change and I decided not to engage over the missing 10%. .
They did not clean it the first time. And made me come back again. And they charged me for it even though that is not there policy
So disappointed in the customer service. Went in to pick up my dry cleaning and my jacket was missing. I've spoken and emailed the manager, Sonia Iraheta, twice and have received no response. Its going on a month and I have no jacket and no resolution from Flair Cleaners. Extremely poor customer service.
They broke my shell buttons on my shirt and didn't fix them in two weeks. I picked it up with nothing but an offer to swap my fine shirt for a lesser shirt. They couldn't even find replacement plastic buttons. What tailor/alteration shop can't find buttons?? FLAIR cleaners that's who. I took it to MILT and EDIES and they will have it replaced with buttons on Saturday ( 3 days tops). They are just up the street too.
