Staff is very nice. I brought in to drapery panels 94 inches long just to have pressed. I was asked if I wanted a price I said that's OK thinking they would cost no more than $30 for both. No pleats, just flat panel. To my shock when I pick them up they were $57! Sorry I will not be coming back. I feel like that is much too expensive for what I had done. Shame on me for not waiting to receive the quote.
I won a gift certificate to New Albany Cleaners in a silent auction at a charity event. I brought the gift certificate with me when I dropped off my clothing and was told to bring it back when I picked everything up. I brought it back again when my clothes were ready and I was told "they should have told you this can't be applied to your order." I'm going to preference this review with the sole purpose of coming to this dry cleaners was to fix the buttons on my coat. I was willing to pay for the service but the front desk clerk informed me upon drop off that they cannot fix the buttons unless it was dry cleaned first. I didn't mind having the coat cleaned but I really needed the buttons fixed. They quoted me a about 5-6 days to have it back. I was told that I would get expedited service and gave my comforter back within two days but I didn't end up seeing it for a week and a half. I received a call telling me they could not expedite, but I never received a call letting me know it was done when it actually was done.
Got my comforter back smelling like musty mothballs. Smells terrible!
The service and shirts turned out great. However, 3$ per shirt for a simple dry cleaning is fairly expensive for what I am used to paying so I may explore other dry cleaners. Everything else was exceptional. Thank you.
Both individuals I worked with were wonderful (at drop off and pick up). I took 1 button down, 1 pair of slacks and 2 dresses. Everything looked great except for one of the dresses. I bought this dress and had worn it one time to a rehearsal dinner. I got it back and it had a snag across the front in 2 places with a tag that says they believe it was already there - it was new. This store is polite and pleasant. I brought in a stack of shirts, a sweater and a throw blanket. I mentioned the shirts may have food stains on them and if they could please check them and treat them accordingly. They replied of course! Just for reference I had gone to another cleaner that told me they do not do that and that it is too expensive for them to check for stains and treat them! (My jaw dropped to the floor). I love New Albany cleaners and they will be getting all my business now.
