As a new resident to Ohio, I needed a dry cleaner. I chose New Albany Cleaners because they're less than a 5 minute drive away. The young lady who waited on me was quite pleasant. To my surprise, my clothes were ready 3 days BEFORE the estimated due date. The bag in which they were delivered was sealed at the bottom to prevent the clothes from falling out, and the sleeves were filled with paper to prevent wrinkles. The quoted price was much lower than what I actually paid (almost $40). No one called to tell me that my items were ready, when I called they said they were not (after 2 weeks). Still no one called, then I started getting random emails that different items were ready, from New Albany Cleaners, when I dropped them at Dublin Cleaners. Terrible customer service.

I had a shirt with a small ink stain on it, which did not fully come out the first time cleaned by your cleaners. I asked if the shirt could be re-cleaned to focus on the ink stain, as I wanted to take the shirt on vacation. The clerk at the counter told me Thursday night when I initially came to pick the shirt up that the second cleaning would be ready by Friday. Had a single pair of pants cleaned. Obviously it's more expensive than other places that don't deliver, but that's to be expected. Great creases and very clean pants. HOWEVER, I test every dry cleaner I use on the very first trip. I leave 5 dollars in the back pocket with nothing else. Then I button it closed so it can't fall out and would have to be removed on purpose. Unfortunately, my pants came back without the 5'er in the pocket or in an envelope like most other dry cleaners will do. I can only assume it was pocketed. ... read more

Every summer I bring my 5x8 rug in to have it cleaned. This year I was told the ticket would be emailed to me, but no email ever arrived. Then they were unable to give me an estimate of my cost upfront. The cost is usually somewhere between $48-65. This year when I picked up the rug my total was $107. When I asked for an explanation, I was told that there was no way to know why the cleaning this year was so expensive and that maybe my rug was extra dirty. I will no longer be using New Albany Cleaners.
