A few months ago, after our longtime cleaners closed, we started doing business with Lapels because of the good reviews and proximity to our home... My husband usually takes in 7 to 8 dress shirts in at a time to be laundered. We have only been using Lapels for a couple of months, but each time our charges were very inconsistent. We charge $3.45 for standard shirts and $.50 extra for dirty collars or stains. These prices are clearly posted in our store. I offered to refund $5 to settle the matter. Very disappointed in Lapels Cleaners Prosper (Prosper, TX). My dad brings 12 shirts in and you lose 3 of them and the owners response is sorry, there is nothing we can do? His receipt showed 12 dropped off. The manager tried to tell him that he counted them and there were only 9…then why would the receipt say 12. I realize things happen, but there should be some compensation. I have used you before, but will drive out of my way to use any other cleaners except yours!!

The Lapels website says they do UGG boot cleaning. I dropped mine off over two weeks ago. Not once did anyone tell me they get shipped elsewhere. When I called after two weeks to see if they were in they were not. I went in the next day and they still weren’t in. During those two encounters no one told me wherever they were sent was supposed to call me. This place is horrible. I dropped off my cleaning to get it done, but when I went to pick it up, I found that my shirt had been sent to another store. The clerk at the store agreed to have my shirt sent to my house once it was found. I received a text that the shirt was found and it would be sent to the correct store, and I could pick it up two days later.
