We have been a Kona customer for years. Unfortunately within the last year we have had several issues. A lost shirt, a ruined sweater, hanging sweaters on wire hangers after being asked not to, and the most recent problem is clothes coming back with a foul, fish like odor.

My sweater is still missing, I haven't heard from kona yet. But I give it 2 stars because they have called to let me know they are searching for it. I went with kona because of their special discount cards, my other dry cleaners never lost my clothes.

I went to Kona cleaners because of the SmartRaiser app that we got from Villa Park HS. The garment was cleaned well but when I went to redeem the app coupon, I was told that it wouldn't be honored because I didn't show it to the clerk when I dropped off. If the app or the clerk had let me know that I needed to do so during drop off, I would have. I will probably use the cleaners that is closer to my home next time.

Good price. But, my dry cleaning was put under someone else's name and lost. I needed it before I left for my trip and couldn't get it in time.

Was very upset never got a call,email or text when my clothes were ready and I specifically said I was in a rush.i shouldn't have had to call and see if it wasvreadyvwhen I was told I would get a notification. When I asked an employee why he didn't he said maybe he didn't have my information down right but when I read everything back to hm he said that's what he had. So I don't know why I was never notified.

It took not even 5 minutes to drop off my item that needed to be dry cleaned and it was ready in less than 2 days! I called several cleaners in Orange to see if my sleeping bag could be cleaned in 2 days and Kona was the only cleaner that said they could! 10/10 do recommend.

I have to start by saying the service was very good. Courteous, and responsive to what I needed done. I usually provide between 15-20 garments at a time which run me typically $50.00 when I spent $87.00 I was taken aback and feel like the amount of business I would bring to Kona Cleaners was not taken into consideration. I would hope that I would receive the same or similar rate as I was getting from my old, current, cleaning service.

The two stars are for the nice job your company does of washing and folding my clothes. However, your customer service is seriously lacking at this location. Mona is rude, uncaring, and does not communicate or greet customers. She also does not help or assist the customer. It should be noted that Mona also often has a small baby in her arms while at work. I am disabled. The handicap parking space at the Taft Avenue location is often blocked by your company van. A regular parking spot does not provide the space I need. ... read more

I would give more stars, as the customer service is great, but I have repeatedly asked to lose all the excessive plastic packaging to no avail. I was told last year, that we would have the option to use reusable garment bags, rather than disposable plastic packaging, but that option has not materialized. I will soon start to look for another cleaner that will at least provide the option to dramatically reduce the wasteful packaging.
