Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. This was the first time using your service and I was very happy. The intake process was very easy and I was notified when my clothes were ready which was exactly when promised. I even received a coupon for my next visit which pleasantly surprised me and is a great marketing strategy. I lost a lot of weight and needed skirts altered. The seamstress (Ms. Teresa) did a fantastic job!!!! I recommend taking all your clothes that need adjustments to Brothers Cleaners for your alterations. She is so nice and accommodating. There is a convenient small dressing room to change clothes. These alterations saved me from buying new skirt suits that I only wear for special occasions. Thanks again Ms. Teresa and Brothers Cleaners for having such a wonderful seamstress!!!!!
