Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. Oh my! I got a VERY bad stain on a work tie. Butter/oil/grease..... I tried to get it out at home with no luck. Took it to Brothers for a last ditch effort to save it, a replacement is very expensive. I had zero expectations on it coming back to me without the stain, I even delayed picking it up by a few days because I had written it off as a loss. SURPRISE! Brothers nailed it! Good as new with not even a trace of the old stain! Thanks Brothers!
