Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. Friendly, prompt service
I lost a lot of weight and needed skirts altered. The seamstress (Ms. Teresa) did a fantastic job!!!! I recommend taking all your clothes that need adjustments to Brothers Cleaners for your alterations. She is so nice and accommodating. There is a convenient small dressing room to change clothes. These alterations saved me from buying new skirt suits that I only wear for special occasions. Thanks again Ms. Teresa and Brothers Cleaners for having such a wonderful seamstress!!!!!
