Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. Clothes were cleaned and suits altered quickly. Good service and pricing, too. Email and texts to let me know it was ready.
I use the pick up and drop off route service as I’m a resident at Park Central and it is phenomenal! Jr does a great job keeping me notified upon drop off of my clothing. As far as the dry cleaning itself, my clothing has always been taken care of to my satisfaction. Thank you all!
Brothers has always been here for me. They consistently washed and ironed and hung my shirts on hanger so they wouldn't wrinkle. I always looked good in shirts laundered by Brothers. They have cleaned area carpets, suede jackets, comforters, the list goes on. On occasion they've even altered pants and replaced buttons. They are my go to laundry.
My first time using this cleaners. Did a great job. Very quick turnaround.
