Fred Walden worked at the store on Porter off and on from 1959 to 1968. In 1968 he took a job in Texas until spring of 1969. In May of 1969 Fred Walden met his wife Carolyn Walden at Sonic on Lindsey Street. They were married in December and for the first few months Carolyn worked at another job but it wasn't long before she came to work at Waldens Cleaners. Always am greeted in a friendly manner and they always know my name. Anything they can do to provide great customer service they do it.
My hat was cleaned fantastically, but the price for it was much higher than I thought it would be. Of course, what isn’t.

Everyone is very courteous to me and always recognizes me. I love that they will put my cleaning items in my car, too. The quality of the starched shirts is superb. Love my dry cleaner!!!!!
They did a great job and finished a day early!
The shirt and vest were appliqued with Native American designs and had been soiled with dust, dirt and unknown spots because they were not stored properly. Items never worn and I was not sure they could be cleaned. But they came out great and cleaned very well. Staff is very professional and friendly. I liked my experience there. I am have 7 more similar items cleaned the same way. Very good job.
