Fred Walden worked at the store on Porter off and on from 1959 to 1968. In 1968 he took a job in Texas until spring of 1969. In May of 1969 Fred Walden met his wife Carolyn Walden at Sonic on Lindsey Street. They were married in December and for the first few months Carolyn worked at another job but it wasn't long before she came to work at Waldens Cleaners. There really is no substitute for Walden. The clothes come out flawlessly, but dealing with them is the distinguishing factor. They know their stuff, very well staffed and managed, very clean store(s).

The dry cleaning was great. Only annoying thing is the text messages saying my dry cleaning is ready and when I get to the store it’s not there/ready. You need to fix your text message system to only notify customers when their dry cleaning is actually ready for pickup.
