Fred Walden worked at the store on Porter off and on from 1959 to 1968. In 1968 he took a job in Texas until spring of 1969. In May of 1969 Fred Walden met his wife Carolyn Walden at Sonic on Lindsey Street. They were married in December and for the first few months Carolyn worked at another job but it wasn't long before she came to work at Waldens Cleaners. Walden’s keep my cleaning preferences on file so there is never any guess work about how I like my clothes cleaned and pressed. Also appreciate that they message me when cleaning is ready for pickup. Often this is earlier than I expected and I happen to be in town that day. Great job, Walden’s of Norman!

As usual your personnel were very solicitous in wanting to know how they could help me. I wanted to pickup my clothes on a particular date, and I wanted my shirts folded. This was done, and I was notified by text message. As usual I was very satisfied with the quality of service.

Always on time and at a great price. I had a stain on one shirt and a broken button on another. I failed to highlight those two issues when I dropped off, but low and behold! Button on and stain removed.
