Fred Walden worked at the store on Porter off and on from 1959 to 1968. In 1968 he took a job in Texas until spring of 1969. In May of 1969 Fred Walden met his wife Carolyn Walden at Sonic on Lindsey Street. They were married in December and for the first few months Carolyn worked at another job but it wasn't long before she came to work at Waldens Cleaners. My clothes always turn out great plus I love the convenience of the drive through. The people working there are always pleasant and will even hang your clothes up in the car for for! Great cleaners!

I had a stain on my white linen slacks. It looked like tar. I had little hope of ever wearing them again. But I knew the only cleaners I trusted, Walden’s, was my best hope. They proved me right. They got the awful stain off my slacks without a trace!

My experience this time was typical of my past expectations at Walden’s. It was close to perfect from Walden’s perspective. I took my clothes in late Tuesday and asked for them on Thursday. The garments were ready the, but I couldn’t pick them up until later. Walden’s personnel were very understanding as usual. I like this establishment.
