Fred Walden worked at the store on Porter off and on from 1959 to 1968. In 1968 he took a job in Texas until spring of 1969. In May of 1969 Fred Walden met his wife Carolyn Walden at Sonic on Lindsey Street. They were married in December and for the first few months Carolyn worked at another job but it wasn't long before she came to work at Waldens Cleaners. My experience this time was typical of my past expectations at Walden’s. It was close to perfect from Walden’s perspective. I took my clothes in late Tuesday and asked for them on Thursday. The garments were ready the, but I couldn’t pick them up until later. Walden’s personnel were very understanding as usual. I like this establishment.

I am starting to believe that Tony is perhaps in denial that he has the absolute best cleaners in the METRO AREA, and we(Jona) and(Jerry) tell everyone that very thing. Not the Tony part, just the cleaners.
