Have used Puritan Dry Cleaners for about a year since moving to the area. Courteous staff, quick turnaround. Cleaning as expected. I was floored when I took two knee length dresses to have cleaned and was charged $22.04 per dress. I was charged an additional fee because the dresses were lined. Paying a total of $44.08 was a bit much. I understand they are not the cheapest dry cleaners in town and I don’t mind paying for quality but I find their prices more than I want to spend on dry cleaning.

I had a pair of pants hemmed a couple of months ago. Had to bring them back in because the thread came undone Puritain sent me a message that it was ready for pickup at the Staples Mill location. Got there and they said they didn't have the pants and that they were sent to the Westhampton store (NO CLUE WHY THEY DID THIS???????) Got the the Westhampton Store and they had no clue what I was talking about. The employees I spoke with at both locations were rude and acted like it was my fault they lost the pants. I enjoyed my experience with Puritan until I started working there because one of the managers I knew personally needed the help in their store...After working and giving my all....I was lied on and terminated without even speaking to me....When I started working there I was told how much they value their employees....that's was definitely not the truth..... Other employees that were there before me got away w everything,calling out ,not showing up and everything else under the sun....they weren't treated any different......... read more

Rude and overpriced. Unreal poor service out of this location. Literally 5x more expensive than others in the area. No prices listed ,then they say everything is special. $18 to clean a $20 item. Kick rocks. Then rude and nasty when questioned. Check my blog for an expose on this cleaner. Lots to come.

I do business with the store on Hull St. The last times I have been in there, I get different information on what the price will be. Why isn't there a specific price list? Is it so you can change it when I come to pick up my clothes? I was told first time it was less expensive to wash the shirts then just have them press. When I come back to pick them up, the cost is almost double than what was said. Different person and she adjusted it and told me it was less to have them dry cleaned. I dropped off a suit to get cleaned for a funeral. This store tore the pants and refused to give them back to me. They filed an insurance claim and issued me a check for 20% of the value of the pants. I told them that all I wanted was my pants fixed and returned, but they sent a check anyway. I still have not gotten the pants back. They told me there is a good chance they were just destroyed. In dealing with management at this location they have been rude and unhelpful. I’ve had a horrible experience with this cleaner. They lost an invaluable vintage dress of mine and made no effort to find or recover the dress. I will be attempting to follow up with a manager tomorrow but will have to find this information on my own since it wasn’t provided to me. Do not use this cleaner they will lose your clothes and just shrug at you over their mistake.
