My skirt was ruined. It was pinned to the hanger. There is an elastic waistband, but someone decided to pin it through the silky skirt material instead. Now there are 8 large visible holes. This is a brand new, never been worn $150 skirt and now it’s ruined. I brought it back immediately and the man at the counter told me he would let his manager know and I would receive a call. I am always pleased with the service and quality of work at Pilgrim cleaners.
Two weeks ago I sent a top for alterations. I wanted the sleeve hems to be top stitched.because the hems wouldn’t press smoothly. The top came back with the sleeves machine blind stitched and not pressed flat. I showed Derrick an example of what had already been done on a similar shirt. I sent the top back and explained clearly and by example how I wanted the alterations to look when finished.
