We arrived Tuesday evening at about 6:00PM with the understanding that the store hours were 7:00AM to 8:00PM only to discover that the store closing was moved to 6:00. Since we drove from Marion (about 45 miles) to get to the store before closing, the manager unlocked the door, let us pick up our order of 10 shirts and drop off 9 more, we were elated at her kindness in allowing us to do this. Attn: Beth or Mgr. of DuPont Peerless Cleaners; First and Foremost, this has been a very frustrating 6-7 weeks. I have had to bring my suite jackets and my Coat there going on three times because there is been a communication or lack of follow up with the alteration company that Peerless does business with. I have paid money on both previous account to get the correct alteration for my items. After speaking with the owners (keith/Dave), I thought that the situation would have been handled. Awful expensive , up charge for linen.
Stains out, button on!
Brought in two shirts, one of the shirts had a spot on the front, she acknowledged it and said we would take care of it. I picked up the shirts and when I got him I put them away only to find the spot still there. Normally I receive a notice saying you could not get the spot out. No such note. So now I wonder if it was looked at , at all. I live an hour away so running Down to have it taken car of is a waste of my time and gas.
The clothes looked fine. This was my first time to the dry cleaners and I took everything in on my nice hangars. When I showed up to get my clothes I walk in and the door bell rings and I stand in the lobby for five minutes and see no one. I opened and closed the door again to get the bell to ding again and someone finally decided to walk up. Way to expensive
When I attempted to pick up my dry cleaning, the clerk said that the computer was frozen and that I would have to come back later. The total is on the ticket and I offered to pay cash for over the amount so that I would not have to make a second trip. I had to make a second trip. The irony of the situation was that even though the computer was frozen, I was able to just leave my new order to be cleaned.
