Love the cheerful staff
Dropped of my clothes and they were done two days prior to when I was told they would be done.
I requested two pairs of pants have the lining repaired. I received them today and was blown away when they told me it was $35 per pair for a total of $70.00 to fix. If I had any idea it would be more than $15 or even $20 per pair to fix, I would not have had the work done. I did not ask for an estimate and that is my fault. Outside of an explanation of why $35.00 per pair was justifiable, I can't blame Peerless for my lack of due diligence. My area rug that I brought in took 3 weeks and was only suppose to take 2. They were 5 days late getting it done and the original price was ridiculous! I will never come to Peerless again because they are overpriced and were a week late getting it done. Even though they gave me a 20% discount for being late, it was still very expensive. I can get 3 or 4 rooms in my house cleaned by Stanley Steamer for that price of cleaning my rug.
One dress, stain remained, charged more than $16.
Reported an issue to Beth and received horrible customer service. The original issue was due to my Lucky Brand Comforter being returned flat, overly starched, inside filling on corners where seems we’re re restitched hard as if inside fabric was burnt. On another side of the comforter fabric is protruding through the stitching. Comforter was not given to Peerless Cleaners this way. I have been a client over three years at the downtown location. I took my Lucky Brand comforter to the Coventry Location. Comforter was returned flat and starchy, fabric coming out, corner restitched and trim along with frantic protruding out of the stitching.
