Missing items, you guys kept my laundry bag and socks. Disappointed. Wish I didn't have to give a star
I really like Kona Cleaners and their service. However, when I have an issue and send an email there is no response or customer service. Example, a pair of pants was never returned and when I sent an inquiry there was not even a response.
One of the two items I sent in for cleaning was not returned. I was told that Kona Cleaners would look into this and replace the item if necessary. I appreciate that response, but am obviously not happy that the item is missing and perhaps lost.
There's a lot to like about Kona I might guess and my personal sample size is a single visit. I took in 10 pieces and was charged $55. Shame on me for not asking prices when I dropped off I suppose, however this is so out of range of my normal cleaners (I am new to the area) that they ought to have told me. They have a pretty cool online notification system and they use good hangers and seem to do a fine job. The young woman working at Paularino location could not have been nicer! Unfortunately, the machine that is used to fill pillows is not working currently but your employee offered to email me when the machine is up and running. I appreciated her offer and organization.
All the employees are very nice and I enjoy coming in to pick up/drop off my items. The other day I did notice that my newly dry-cleaned shirt was completely wrinkled and not pressed cleanly at all so I brought it back in. It was a poor job of dry-cleaning, I hope the shirt can fixed this time around. I am also not a big fan of the bar code stickers they permanently stick on each item of clothing.
