I would not recommend this service due to unethical pricing practices. I specifically asked for the total cost upfront and was told $35 for my order. However, when my clothes were returned, the price had more than doubled to $84. While they did a great job cleaning the clothes, the customer service was disappointing. I hope they address these ethical concerns. If you choose to use their services, make sure to get everything in writing to avoid surprises.
I have never been to a worse dry cleaners in my life! After moving recently to TX, I decided to try this cleaners because it was close to our house, and I still regret it today and have yet to find any resolution for the damage this cleaning service has caused. I dropped off two items to be dry cleaned and one alternation in October 2024, both items came back damaged!! Long story, short.... The cashier person was unprofessional, disrespectful, lazy. I asked her to please put in their computer system that i wanted medium starch on my shirts this time and to reprint me a receipt with the correction. I asked them to do this because they have starched my shirts and pants incorrectly before. They have put creases in my pants when I asked not to, so I wanted to make sure it was spelled out, and clear for them so that hopefully they wouldn't continue to mess up orders. I’ve been a loyal customer of Jack Brown dry cleaners on South I-35 in Austin for years, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. A couple of months ago, I picked up my medium-starch dress shirts, only to find they were heavily starched. Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT bring any sort of valuable item to this place. I had a $500 Mac Duggal gown dry cleaned at the Round Rock location on University Blvd. after a wedding I was in, and not only did they destroy the hem of the dress, which was fully intact and in pristine condition when I dropped off the gown, they also altered the bodice and built in cups without my knowledge. I went to cleaners last week and was overcharged for 7 items. I came in and talked to lady before I left the items and explained this was our 1st time and were military family and to give me the pricing and if they honor any discounts. I am appalled at the prices. I will never ever use this cleaners again. Service was good, but the prices are horrendous. $18 for one dress,, $20 for another and $11 for a shirt??? To dry clean??? NO SPOTS on the clothing and im charged THAT MUCH??? Oh My God!! 3 peices and it's the first time I use their Service??? NEVER AGAIN... Thank you very much. New Braunfels location. This is the worst cleaners I have ever used . . . DO NOT use this business unless you are a gluten for punishment!! Took in 4 men's dress shirts and asked for them to be laundered and folded. They refused to launder one of the shirts and insisted it had to be dry cleaned (strange because is was cotton just like the other shirts and the tag on the shirt said to wash, not dry clean).
