Although not officially incorporated until 1957, Comet Cleaner’s history dates all the way back to the 1920’s where founder R.L. “Jack” Godfrey opened his first dry cleaning store. Comet Cleaners has remained in the Godfrey family ever since, with Jack Godfrey, Jr. becoming the third generation to own and operate the franchise.

We hands used Comet Cleaners for 3 years now. It's always flawless and a heart experience. The staff are all very kind, and the clothes are fresh and spotless. They've done everything from adding a button on a shirt, to sewing up a tear. I had 4 black items in this last order, and not even a trace of lint on them! We are Comet customers for life.
I have a London Fog cashmere overcoat that everyone besides Comet seems to have a hard time cleaning and pressing. But they nail it every time. Only cleaners i use are the Hardin/El Dorado Comet now.
Service is terrific! Prices are very good:-)
The Comet Staff was very friendly and efficient. I dropped the clothes off late in the day and received A message the next morning , advising me by I. that the clothes were ready for pickip. NICE JOB!
