Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. Employees are so pleasant, but I feel that your prices are outrageous, I had a choir robe and Maxi dress cleaned and the price was $45! If the items were full of stains, I can maybe understand, but I think this is a little overboard! I had to drop the items off and pick them up myself! Thanks
I left my coat to be dry cleaned and a repair on one pocket. The pocket was repaired but the coat was NOT CLEANED! I am not happy about this!
I have been going to NH Brothers for 12 years. I have used multiple services including dry cleaning and a ton of alterations. I picked up 6 tops two being tank tops that just needed the straps shortened it was $160. I was shocked and very upset. 😔
At first everything seemed great until I received back my clothes. Did not follow clear and written instructions.
I received 2 womens shirts for pressing only (medium starch) I was charged $17.00 for 2 shirts. That is very high! They were not laundered or dry clean, just ironed. I won't return at that rate!
