Regency Cleaners began business in 1982 at the University Drive location. Locally owned and operated by the Foley family, Regency Cleaners grew to three strong locations by 1994. In 2001, the Foley’s purchased White Star Cleaners and Laundry, a well known, established dry cleaning and Laundromat business with three locations, that has been serving the Durham community since 1930. Good dry cleaning. Gets things done on time. Issue with starch : they use so much, even after requesting to likit it, and shirts come out looking & feeling like they're made out of cardboard.

IF I had a bad experience at Regency it is such a distant memory. I have been a consistent customer since we moved to Durham in 1988. The staff is friendly and efficient. The service has not faltered. I am committed to this laundry service until I either move from Durham or die.

I was pleasantly surprised that my couch covers were done in a day! They had me sign all kinds of waivers which made me nervous, i was nervous anyway. Its a very expensive sofa but the covers are wonderful.
