The process of dropping off was nice however my items were worse off once I picked them up. It was my first time using Pilgrims and I was disappointment. My dress with pleats doesn't not fit the same, there's permanent static like effect and the dress doesn't fall how it used to. My pants now have a white appearance where the seam is as well. I will be returning my dress for it to be corrected!
Clothes were not in the locker when they were suppose to be back. Due back on a Friday and needed them for the weekend but they didn't show up until Tuesday. Very disappointed in the service lately. Spoke to new manager and hope it improves. We've been customers for at least 10 years.
The place consistently charges significantly more than other dry cleaners in the area. Even when presented with a coupon that should make pricing more competitive, the stated discount often forgotten to be applied to the final bill. I gave up and switched to a different place nearby that just has regular reasonable pricing.
I was definitely not pleased with my last experience at cleaners. Things have steadily declined in service over the last few months.
Pilgrim needs to put some attention into their facilities. The building in Friendswood is looking bad. The sign looks bad, the lights are continuously flickering, and the whole place just looks poorly maintained. The last 3 times that I picked up an order, the credit card reader wasn't working and the clerk had to type in the card number manually. Overpriced, two-day wait for pick-up. Too many other competitors that or lower priced and pick-up available the following day. Won't be back.
I have been doing business with the store in Friendswood for several years and the last couple of months the service as declined to the point I am looking elsewhere for a cleaners. The last incident was my wife had a dress cleaned and when the cleaners attached the bar code it left a 1X3 inch mark on the outside of the dress. She took it back, they kept the dress for about 10 days and still looks the same if not worse. The quality of the actual dry cleaning is the best around, however not perfect. The main problem I have is the staff at the Friendswood location. Numerous times I try to drop off on the way to work and it's never open on time. The latest I can drop off is 7:15, and he is either not there or still in his car. Unfortunately I don't have time to wait. This may seem petty, but then I can't drop of for a day or 2 because of my schedule. Last week I tried dropping off 3 days in a row! Not too good this time, in fact, we're taking the tux shirt back because the pleats are pressed crooked. And, the lady that waited on us was rude. We have been going there for many many years, but now are looking to change. Since Rosa left your customer service has gone!
