just received a voicemail back saying I am to return the gown and it will be placed in the premier box. I haven't RECIEVED the returned label to reship it as promised and is that all an upgrade is? A silver box? Nothing special done to preserve lifetime versus the 30 years? No thank you, I'm keeping my gown safe with me and taking it to my dependable cleaners that does preservation! I tried to call your company again and got the lovely voice mail, again
My dress came while I was at work so it sat in the snow at my side door for 6 hours. I was never given the option at David's Bridal to pay a little extra to have the dress require a signature, so that was the first issue. The second issue is that the outer box was dropped so the inner box was dented. Noticeably. The third issue was that the entire dress was crooked. Very crooked. paid for upgrade, didn't get it, left 7 voice mails and did not get return call! finally spoke to a live person and was told she was gonna email label to reship and get the upgrade and that never was received! I called back and asked for my $50 for the upgrade and that hasn't happened either" I would NEVER USE Memories Gown Preservation! also paid $45 to have special engraving and it looks like it was stamped on the plain white box done with a silver sharpie! I paid for the lifetime guarantee , upgrade to Premier, it came back with the 30 year guarantee on the plain white box and not the premier box, I've called and left 7 messages, no one returned my call!ive asked for a refund of the$50,I paid for the upgrade and that has not been done! a person did call and say she was sending me an email to reship and get the upgrade done and I haven't received that either, just this email asking me to rate my AWFUL SERVICE I received! now, I would be afraid to reship and have Memories Gown P... read more
I wasn't overly pleased with my dress when I got it back. There seems to be some kind of cardboard that collapsed inside the box, covering the shoulders of my dress. There was also dust and shavings inside of the plastic. I was hesitant to remove the plastic to fix the problems because I may send it back. There was also a ribbon wrapped around the waist of the dress that I didn't ask of and don't like...I don't know if that's standard, but I certainly didn't request it. Quality didn't match the price.
The dress itself looks fabulous. It REALLY bothers me that an extra ribbon was put around the belt with writing on it that just feels like an advertisement was put on my dress without my knowledge or consent. I don't even like looking at my dress because I just get annoyed. I'm almost tempted to break the seal on the box so I can take the advertisement off of my wedding dress so it can look beautiful again like I wanted it to.
I purchased this preservation because I was under the understanding it would be in a nice frame set-up that could be hung to display. I was very disappointed when I opened the package and found a cardboard box that had been shrink wrapped. As if that wasn't enough, my dress was tilting slightly to the right. Finally got in touch with customer service to be told that it was common knowledge that it was a cardboard box...after a week and a half of calling their customer service department (getting a different person each time)... read more
My dress looks bad, really bad. The satin on the top of the dress, there are now holes in the dress from the stitches put in to it where there should not be and the chiffon ruffles on the bottom of my dress are bunched up in front of my dress. The entire display of the dress looks bad. I haven't opened it so I'm hoping the dress has at least been cleaned. I am really upset about my dress and I hope to get some sort of compensation for this horrible service.
I'm a little disappointed that you put the ribbon around the waist of the dress to advertise your logo. It totally changed the look of the dress and I was not aware that it would be added. I obviously already bought from you, advertising your logo like that is a bit unnecessary. I wish I could take it out, but that would break the seal. So I'm stuck with it. Besides that, the dress looks good.
